The Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mr Babatunde Fowler, has expressed confidence that the revenue agency will surpass N5.32 trillion revenue collection in 2019.

The tax collection agency has projected a whopping N5.32 trillion target for 2019. This is expected to be the highest yearly collection the FIRS would have ever recorded. So far, the highest revenue ever collected by the FIRS was N5.07 trillion which was recorded in 2012.
