FG boycotts World Economic Forum in S’ Africa

The Federal Government may have boycotted the World Economic Forum ongoing in Cape Town, South Africa, over the rising wave of xenophobic attacks against some Nigerians in that country.

This was made know by presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad on his verified tweeter handle, @BashirAhmaad.

He tweeted in response to an inquiry, “Yes sir, Nigerian government has boycotted the World Economic Forum holding in Cape Town, South Africa, but some individuals from Nigeria including a former Minister are attending on their own.
