Zamfara state governor, Dr. Bello Mohammed has inaugurated a 9 man committee headed by former Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar to probe the suspended Emir of Maru, Alhaji Abubakar Chika Ibrahim.
The committee is to also examine the immediate and remote causes of banditry and other crimes across the state and proffer solutions to end the ugly menace in the state.

Inaugurating the committee at the Government House, Gusau, governor Mohammed said the committee was parts of his administration’s desire to get to the root cause of the lingering security challenges that has being bedevilling the state.
