Ex-Buhari’s aide, Bashir Ahmad lauds FG for naming sponsors of terrorism

A former Assistant to former President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmad, on Wednesday, took to his social media page to react to the names of individuals suspected to be funding the activities of terrorists in the country.

 

 

 

 

He commended the boldness of the Federal Government to name the sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria, saying he believed the government would carry out appropriate sanctions on the people.

Recall that the Federal Government had released names and BDCs funding terrorists in Nigeria.

 

 

 

“We hope that those individuals will face the necessary legal consequences for their actions,” Ahmad wrote.

He wrote: “Wallahi. Hopefully, this will serve as a lesson to those who are currently engaged in similar wrongdoing.”
