Elections postponement: Police to sustain patrol in Lagos -CP Muazu

Commissioner of Police in Lagos, CP Zubairu Muazu, has said intensified patrol would be sustained in the state even with the postponement of the February 16, 2019 Presidential and National Assembly elections. 

CP Muazu, who spoke through a press release, on Saturday, said the patrol was needed to ensure the safety of the good people of Lagos.

He, therefore, called on all residents to go about their lawful duties without fear.

The Commissioner of Police thanked Lagosians for maintaining peace saying,  “I urge Lagosians to keep availing the Command, credible and timely information to enable it sustain the peace currently enjoyed in the state.

“The command is using this opportunity to warn hoodlums, persons with criminal intent that the Command will not entertain any act capable of breaching the peace of the state.”
