Ekiti 2022: Segun Oni alleges vote-buying in Ado, Oye-Ekiti

Candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the Ekiti State gubernatorial election, Engr. Segun Oni, accused Parties of vote buying during the conduct of the exercise especially in Ado-Ekiti, the state capita, and Oye-Ekiti.

Earlier on Saturday, Engr. Oni had cast his vote at Unit 6 Ward 2 Uro, Ifaki at exactly 10:22 am along with his wife, Kemi.

Although, accreditation at the voting centre started slowly but it later picked up.

There was massive turn out of voters who patiently waited on the queue to case their vote. Among the voters was a 105-years-old, identified simply as Mama Felicia Fayomi, who was accompanied by one of her grandchildren.

There were also aged disabled who came out to exercise their franchise, saying, their determination was to vote for change in Ekiti State in the next four years.

While addressing the media, Engr. Oni alleged there was voting buying in Ado-Ekiti and Oye-Ekiti.
