The Federal Government has announced the resumption of Abuja/Kaduna rail services, after about eight months shutdown due to terrorists’ attack.
Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, disclosed this at the second President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration scorecard (2015-2023) series, in Abuja, adding that the train services would recommence before end of this month.

The rail services were shutdown, following the March 28 attack by bandits, who killed many passengers and abducted several others.
However, Sambo assured that necessary steps had been taken to forestall a re-occurrence.
He also disclosed that the Federal Government was in the process of linking the Itakpe/Delta rail service from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
