“That organisation as credible as Sportsville is keeping tabs with what we are doing to empower girl child using sports makes this special.
“I feel so excited that the Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament (BOWFT), is growing every year and the dividends are already emerging.
“That I’ m in Lagos to personally receive the award shows what it means to me. To the organisers, I say a big thank you. I also want to use this opportunity to thank all the corporate bodies and individuals that have made BOWFT a huge success.
“From the very beginning, we made it clear that the tournament will be private sector driven and I am excited with the level of support we are getting from the private sector.” Mrs Obaseki added.
