Edo Election: APC takes lead as INEC announces results from 13 out of 18 LGAs

The All Progressives Congress, APC,  is leading in the results of the Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.

 

 

The party has won in 13 local government areas out of the 18 so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The APC has polled about 180,369 votes, with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, trailing behind in the second position 160,333 votes.

The Labour Party, LP, has since fizzled out of reckoning,  taking a distant third place with 10,247 votes.

Meanwhile, results from five more local government areas are being awaited.
