DSIEC charges political parties to play by the rule

The Chairman Delta State Electoral Commission (DSIEC), Chief Mike Ogbodu has urged all stakeholders, political parties in the state to show commitment while preparing for four bye election for Councillors position in four Local Government Area.

This was disclosed during the stakeholders meeting organized by the Commission, saying, we are required by law to publicly make known, the date fixed by the Commission for the bye election, issue Guidelines as well as Time table and schedule of activities for the conduct of the bye election.

The bye election which was necessitated by death of the Councillors in four Local Government Area, Ndokwa East, Sapele, Isoko North and Okpe.Furthermore, the Commission Chairman said, bye election will took peace in the following Wards, Ward 18 (Oyede1) in Isoko Noth, Ward 4 (Abala) in Ndokwa East, Ward ii in Sapele and Ward 17 (Okwuabude) in Okpe Local Government Area respectively.
