Embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Justice Walter Onnoghen was, on Friday, docked at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) on a six-count charge bordering on alleged non-declaration of assets.
Justice Onnoghen was ushered into the dock at the instance of the tribunal, but refused to sit down when asked to sit by the Chairman of the tribunal, Mr. Danladi Umar.
Meanwhile, his lead counsel, Chief Chris Uche (SAN) applied that the Warrant of Arrest issued against him be discharged now that he has appeared in court voluntarily.
Onnoghen arrived the tribunal at 9: 40a.m in a convey of five vehicles.

The tribunal had, on Wednesday, ordered his arrest following his consistent failure to appear before it.
He was said to have reached an agreement with the security agencies to voluntarily submit himself for the Friday’s proceedings.
Meanwhile, the tribunal has discharged the bench warrant issued against him on the condition that he must make himself available throughout the duration of the trial.
The suspended chairman is already taking his plea as the six count charge were read to him.
