Dead man meets friend in Anambra offers him gold

Mr. Kimberly Ezike has narrated how he met a friend he never knew was dead. He said he met the deceased while living in Vietnam.

He said he was walking along Upper Iweka, Onitsha, in front of Ifeanyichukwu Motors, when the deceased popularly known as “Willy” held him from the back and called him “Oga Uche”.

According to him, Willy brought out gold worth $ 4000 from his pocket and asked him to help him to sell it, that he want to use the money to complete his mother’s house before rainy season.

Ezike wrote: “He said he was coming from Port Harcourt that he was going to Awka. I told him to follow me while we dispose the gold but he refused and said he trusted me. I requested for his phone number so we can communicate but he said he does not know the new number. I now wrote my number and gave him to call me.

When he did not call me, I became worried and afraid I called another friend in Vietnam, and he told me that Willy died on January 19, 2020. He connected me to his mother. I called her she was only shouting “Uchechi who did you leave me for”.

I spoke with his Aunt who is a Reverend Sister, she told me that Uchechi was the only son, that he was to get married on January 15, 2020, that he came back to Nigeria in November. She told me that his car a Lexus SUV, tumbled over five times and he died on the spot”.

Ezike added that the deceased mother, a retired teacher has no money to roof the two rooms she built. He said that the mother noted that his late son had warned him in the dream not to bury him in his father’s compound that they were responsible for his death.

He said: “After meeting with five members of his family, we sold the gold to a woman known as Mrs. Uju Turkey at the cost of N 1,450,000. His burial has been fixed for March.
