Crisis in APC deepens as Tinubu bombs Buhari

Despite denials, the crisis within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is deepening.

This was made manifest during the party’s presidential campaign rally in Calabar, Cross River State, when the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, took a swipe at the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration over the depreciating value of the naira, Nigeria’s currency.

Tinubu lamented that the naira had depreciated from N200 per US dollar in 2015 when Buhari took over to its abysmal current exchange rate of N800 to a dollar in the black market.

“Today, they moved the exchange rate from N200 to N800. If they had repaired it, if they had arrested this, we won’t be where we are today, we will be greater,” the former Lagos State governor said.

“They don’t know the way, they don’t know how to think, they don’t know how to do.”
