Edgal is also expected to resume as the Commissioner of Police in charge of the Explosive Ordinance Unit at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

In his time as the commissioner of Police in Lagos,  Edgal successfully brought the reign of the notorious Badoo cult group to a stop.
