Chimaroke Nnamani’s Ebeano political group moves to APC

The Ebeano political structure founded by a former Governor of Enugu State, Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani, has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The announcement was made by Chief Emmanuel Okwor, Chairman of Ebeano, on Tuesday, in Enugu.

The announcement came a day after its leader, Chimaroke Nnamani, announced his decision to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The former Enugu State governor had been groaning over his loss of the Enugu East senatorial district seat to Kelvin Chukwu of the Labour Party (LP).

“The alliance with APC is to consolidate the partnership with President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve good governance in the country,” Okwo said.

He further added that members of the ‘Ebeano’ political family across the country had been consulted and in agreement with the alliance in the interest of the people.
