Buhari, Gbajabiamila commiserate with Ben-Bruce on wife’s death

President Muhammadu Buhari and the Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila have condoled with Senator Ben Murray-Bruce on the lose of his wife, Evelyn.

In a statement shared by his special media aide, Femi Adesina, the President prayed that God will comfort the Senator, who represented Bayelsa East in the 8th Assembly, as well as the children left by the deceased, and the entire family.

President Buhari urged them to take solace in the quality of life lived by the departed.

He also beseeched God to soothe their pains, and grant succor to all those who mourn Mrs. Evelyn Murray-Bruce.While describing her death as sad, the Speaker in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, urged Ben-Bruce to be strong while praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased.

“I wish to convey my sincere condolences to you over the sad and shocking news of the demise of your wife, Mrs. Evelyn Murray-Bruce.

“I urge you to be strong at this moment of grief and be consoled by the quality of life she led and the opportunity she had to raise a good home and affect other people around her positively.

“I pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased and I also pray that God gives you and the loved ones she left behind the fortitude to bear the loss,” Gbajabiamila said.
