Two days after he participated in Saturday’s presidential and national Assembly elections, President Muhammadu Buhari is back to work, in Abuja.
He arrrived Abuja after a weekend in Katsina for the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
President Buhari arrived Abuja on Monday from his Daura, Katsina State. insisting he would not engage in any speculations about the outcome of the polls, he said he would rather wait for the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) to announce the result.
“I don’t want to depend on rumours, but we will rather wait for INEC to announce the results”, he told the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).
The President also urged other Nigerians to do likewise and wait for INEC.
He however had a word for Nigerians: “l hope that Nigerians will appreciate that it was this government which made sure that they were allowed in security and peace to cast their votes for whichever party and candidates they wanted.
