Boko Haram, ISWAP appoint new governor for Borno as terror groups conducts guber elections

A video posted on social media and shared by former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, shows the Islamic State of West African Province conduct elections into territories it controls.

According to the post by Fani-Kayode, the terror group appointed a new governor for Borno State, which has Babagana Zulum from the APC and other officials to collect taxes from farmers and fishers in the Timbuktu regions. 

“ISWAP has conducted a gubernatorial election & sworn in Abba Kaka as Gov. of Borno. Abba Kaka will work with Baba Isa who will serve as Chief Revenue Collector from farmers & fishermen. Also appointed was Abu Dan-Buduma as Commander, Timbuktu Region & Ibn Umar, Chief Justice,” Fani-Kayode said.

According to him, other officials include: 

Abu Umama-Amir, Tudun Wulgo.

Maina Mohammed – Commander, Sabon Tunbu.

Borno state now has 2 Governors. They are:

– Babagana Zulum (APC – In Charge of 22 LGAs). 

– Abba Kaka (ISWAP  – In Charge of 5 LGAs).

Boko Haram has established a parallel Government!

..Others are:

Abu Umama-Amir, Tudun Wulgo.

Maina Mohammed – Commander, Sabon Tunbu.

Borno state now has 2 Governors. They are:

– Abba Kaka (ISWAP  – In Charge of 5 LGAs).
