Going down the memory lane, the poet cum activist said he started the poetry of the Yoruba genre in 1978 but became more famous and popular with the unjust annulment of the universally adjudged most credible June 12, 1993 presidential election won by a Yoruba man, Bashorun Mashood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.

To the vocal dark-complexioned orator, the annulment was an effrontery to the collective psyche of the people reason he joined others to protest against it, disclosing that, during that period, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was at the forefront of the agitation for the revalidation of the unjustly annulled election.

According to him, Tinubu’s insistence on the rule of law and democracy was not for a selfish reason but for the collective interest of the generality of Nigerians, making it abundantly clear that, Tinubu, a self-made personality has been in comfort zone looking for others to make so that several people would be in the comfort zone and thus make living in the country a worthwhile venture.

He gave kudos to the APC presidential candidate for building a lot of young people and bringing them into the limelight where they are able to be of positive use for the the country and humanity observing that, the time has come in the country for Tinubu to assume the leadership position to direct the footsteps of the yesterday’s young ones to put the country into the right shape.

Citing examples, Ologundudu mention the current Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who Tinubu groomed from his youth when he made him the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State, asking rhetorically, “how old was Professor Yemi Osinbajo in 1999 when Tinubu was Governor of the state?”

The no-nonsense poet however regretted the antics of some Yoruba elders about who he complained that, having attained the zenith in their life, he alleged they want to dismantle the ladder they used with a view to denying the upcoming youth from attaining same zenith!

However, Ologundudu appealed to the people not to allow their destructive antics anger provoke them into causing crisis because according to him, they harbour diabolical plans to disrupt the on-going electoral processes to prevent Tinubu from reaching his divine destiny, saying, people should keep calm and search for such elders to beg them, appeal to them and appease them so that the election would hold and the country would be at peace.

Concluding his submission on Tinubu, the old man expressed the conviction that, when Tinubu mounts the leadership saddle of the country on May 25, Nigeria will surely develop, progress and excel because of his magic Wand, adding that, “Tinubu, who loves to use the youth to achieve will build more youth that will assist in building a country of economic discipline, political stability and social stability.”

While declaring the zoom meeting open earlier, the Directorate Chairman, Hon Kehinde Bamigbetan restated it for the umpteenth times that the aim of the zoom meetings is mainly to sell Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by those who know him to those who don’t know him well with a view to guiding them properly to make the right choice on February 25, with their ballot papers.

The zoom meetings, Bamigbetan informed, will go on until the last day constitutionally permitted for campaigning before the election.
