Bayern Munich’s Gnabry extends contract until 2023

Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry has extended his contract by three years until 2023, the Bundesliga champions said on Tuesday.
“Serge is one of our young guns and an important part of Bayern for the future,” sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said in a statement. “We are convinced that we will have a lot of fun with him.”

The 23-year-old was bought from Werder Bremen in 2017, but spent last season on loan at Hoffenheim.
The Germany international has scored six league goals this term as Bayern plan for life without ageing and injury-prone wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
“I know that I still have potential,” Gnabry said. (NAN)
