The National Working Committee-recognised chairman of the Kwara State All Progressives Congress (APC), Bashir Bolarinwa, has challenged Senate President Bukola Saraki to come and test his popularity in the state during the general election coming up next month.
The chairman said Saraki’s sponsorship of Balogun Fulani to cause confusion in the processes towards the election in the party notwithstanding, the Senate President would by next month know that Kwarans no longer love him.

Bolarinwa, who assured Kwarans of the readiness of APC to liberate the people of the state from enslavement by an individual, said the Senate President by now is scared of losing noted that Saraki is very sure that Kwarans are not ready for another years of slavery.
He urged the Senate President to come to the field come February with his anointed PDP candidate; Alhaji Abdulrasaq Atunwa, to contest with the APC’s Abdulrasaq Abdulrahaman if he is sure of victory rather than using Balogun Fulani against the wish of the people.
According to him, Saraki had played similar game plan in the senate to become senate president but said such game will be resisted this time.
Speaking on the allegation by the Senate President that some APC thugs attacked PDP supporters in Adewole/Adeta and Pakata , Bolarinwa the APC Chairman frowned at the allegation saying, it was the PDP thugs that attacked their members when they saw the APC crowd during a rally in the state.
It would be recalled that the an Ilorin High Court recognised Balogun Fulani had as the Chairman of APC though the general opinion was that he is working for Bukola Saraki which the Senate President had debunked.
