The 8th edition of the Anambra Media Awards, AMEA, has been scheduled to hold on Nov 22, at Cosmila Nite Club, Awka.
AMEA is the longest running.media awards in the South East with several eminent personalities honoured in the last seven editions.
This year’s edition will also see several personalities, outstanding journalists and government officials honoured in different categories.
The Awards Categories include Public Service Meritorious Award, Media Man of the Year, Outstanding Social Media Personality of the Year, Anambra Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Outstanding Journalists of the Year and Outstanding Commissioners of the Year.
Top on the list of government officials to be honoured are Barr. Theodora Okwy Igwegbe, Head of Service Anambra State Government, Engr Dr Felix Odimegwu Commissioner for Environment, Hon Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community affairs, Christian Aburime, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, Anambra State, Hon Mrs Ify Obinabo Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, the Founder of Digi Diva Stores, Obioma Obidiegwu, Izunna Okafor and Eche Kenny C.
