The ex-internationals duo of Daniel Amokachi and Chikelue Iloenyosi topped the array of stars that were honoured last week in Lagos by Caverra World, an outfit committed to motivate and inspire teenagers for excellence.

While Amokachi got a Role Model award, Iloenyosi was bestowed with the honour of Grand Patron.

The Chief Executive Officer of Caverra World, Roseline Anijekwu in a letter to Amokachi noted that the former Eagles winger and SA to President Muhammadu Buhari is a role model which Nigerian teenagers look up to, to excel in their chosen career.

The letter to Amokachi stated in part…”You are a man of many parts, integrity, noble, a socialite and a philanthropist that has set a goal worthy of emulation. We are honoured and pleased to confer on you the award as Role Model.”

Iloenyosi was also singled out for being a beckon of light to teenagers, even as they commended him for his efforts at making Nigerian football better with his 042 Football Legends Association.

The event which was held in Festac Town, Lagos featured Ambassador, Mr and Miss Teen 2020 Beauty Pageant and other activities.

Amokachi after the award told The Nigerian Xpress Sports that he cherished the award ostensibly because it was coming from a body that promotes excellence among the youths.
