The Gboleru Ruling House of Ikirun has sent in a petition to Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State over the contentious Akirun stool.
In the letter, the Gboleru Ruling House stressed the need to comply with the law and exercise restraint in installing Prince Olalekan Akadiri as the new Akirun of Ikirun.
In the letter, with reference number TSA1/181121/4, on Monday, counsel to the royal family, T.S. Adegboyega referred the government to the pending appeal against the judgement of Justice Oyejide Falola and the application for the stay of execution of the said judgement.

He also referred to the prayer for injunction to restrain all parties from giving effect to the said judgement.
The Gboleru Ruling House, while urging the government to allow the law to take its full course, called for a stay of all actions relating to filing the vacant stool of the Akirun till the final determination of the case by the Akure Division of the Court of Appeal.
