AIICO offers free entrepreneurship development programme for LASU students

AIICO Insurance Plc, says it has trained 250 students of Lagos State University (LASU) on Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP).

AIICO in a statement by its Head of Strategic Marketing and Communications Department, Mr Segun Olalandu, on Friday in Lagos said that the training was free for all the students.

The company said the aim of the training was to ignite the students’ passion and drive for success in their journey through entrepreneurship.

AIICO said it also embarked on the EDP as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

“The goal of the programme is to empower Nigerians with the requisite knowledge and skills for success as entrepreneurs,” it said.

“EDP has recorded a milestone with the invitation by the LASU to train and empower students of the institution on entrepreneurship.

“AIICO Insurance Plc is a leading composite insurer in Nigeria that commenced operations in 1963.
