Ag. I-G Adamu to reward triumphant Crime Busters FC of Enugu — TM

The Acting Inspector-General of Police (I-G), Mr Mohammed Adamu, will receive and  reward 30 players and technical crew of the triumphant Crime Busters FC, Enugu, at Louis Edet House, Abuja, the Team Manager, Ebere Amaraizu, has said.

Amaraizu made the disclosure in an interview with  the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Enugu.

According to him, an official communication on the reception has been received with all arrangements concluded.

“The Acting I-G Adamu will be hosting the successful Crime Busters FC on March 28 by 12 noon. During the meeting, the I-G will be rewarding players and members of the technical crew that had contributed to the success of the police team in 2017/2018 football season.

The team was a success in both the league and the Enugu State Federation Cup,’’ he said.

NAN reports that Crime Busters recorded greater feat in the 2017/2018 Nigeria Nationwide League one (NLO) season by having an unbeaten run.

The team also defeated Rangers International FC, Enugu at the state Federation Cup final, thereby ending Rangers’ 32 years reign and dominance of the cup in the state. (NAN)
