The Adamawa state gubernatorial candidate of Action Alliance (AA), Alhaji Aliyu Ahmed says if elected, he will create 70,000 jobs in the state.
Ahmed made this known in a statement on Friday in Yola while highlighting his commitment to strengthening the state civil service.
Ahmed said he would also actualise the state Health Insurance programme that had been in limbo for the past five years.

“We will ensure the creation of 70,000 jobs, increase the minimum wage to N45,000 and ensure all government workers have health insurance.
“Pension will be paid timely, while we will make sure that we introduce social security fund for all graduates,” Ahmed said.
The governorship candidate said all sectors in the state have decayed and there was need for people to vote for quality candidate that could deliver dividend of democracy.
“Let us come out and vote in this election, let us prove to the whole world that Adamawa state can deliver.
“The journey begins today, no going back; victory is for all of us who are courageous,” Ahmed said. (NAN)
