Abducted Buhari’s in-law, Musa Umar Uba arrives home

Alhaji Musa Umar Uba, an in-law to President Muhammadu Buhari, who regained his freedom his abductors, on Tuesday, has returned home.

The Magajin Garin Daura returned to Daura town to a rousing welcome on Wednesday.

Upon his arrival, Uba went straight to the palace of Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruk, who is also his elder brother.

It was gathered that Magajin Garin Daura met with many district heads and other traditional title holders who welcomed him at the emir’s palace.

Describing Uba’s abduction as a terrible experience, the emir thanked President Buhari and the entire Daura emirate for their support.

“On behalf of myself, the president, Muhammadu Buhari, and the entire Daura emirate, we are thanking God for the release of Magajin Garin Daura alive.

“We thank every Nigerian, persons from Niger, Ghana and others who have sent encouraging messages to boost our morale to consider the incident as an act of God,” the Emir said.
