Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday gave N20,000 to each of the second batch of 315 South Africa returnees who arrived Nigeria at the Hajj wing of the Murtala Muhammed airport, Ikeja.

The returnees arrived along with the Special Adviser on Diaspora to the President, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and were received by the Special Adviser to Lagos State governor, Jammel Sanwo-Olu.
The SA, who represented the governor said the cash gesture by the governor was to let the returnees know the state government is concerned about their plight and would do everything to make sure they feel welcomed.
