As the All Progressives Congress (APC) concludes the screening of presidential aspirants, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo may eventually step down for National leader of the Party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was the view of a former Kaduna senator, Sen. Shehu Sani.
Osinbajo and Tinubu, among others, would compete on June 6 for the position of All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate (APC).
The presidential screening committee, led by former APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, examined Tinubu, the APC National Leader, on Monday.

In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, the vice president will appear before the committee today (Tuesday).
Sen. Sani claimed Osinbajo might withdraw from the presidential race and back Asiwaju Tinubu’s ambition in light of recent happenings in Nigeria’s political landscape.
Sen. Sani said this in a tweet via his Twitter handle, on Monday.
He wrote, “Aminu Tambuwal Stepped down for Atiku Abubakar. Pat Utomi stepped down for Peter Obi. Prof. may step down for Jag.”
