Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed “Amotekun Corps” has confirmed the Arrest of some Perpetrators of Owo Catholic church Massacre, recovering some weapons and the vehicle used to escaped from the scene.
The State Commander of Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye confirmed this to newsmen on Thursday in Ondo state.
Parading the suspects, the State Commander of Amotekun, Akogun Adeleye who did not give the specific number and other details of the arrested Owo church attackers, said the corps was still working with other sister security agencies to track others involved in the crime.
Akogun Adeleye appealed to the people of Ondo State especially those at the border towns on Akoko-Owo-Ose axis to remain calm and support the security men to clean up forests of criminals.
Similarly, the Corps paraded 71 suspected kidnappers, armed robbers, Okada snatchers and human traffickers.
On the 71 suspects paraded in Akure, the Amotekun Commander said they would be charged to court for prosecution after the conclusion of investigations.
