An all-female support group set up to promote and campaign for All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and his running mate Kashim Shettima, the Young Women for Tinubu and Shetttima (YOWATS), on Thursday, was inaugurated in Niger State.
National Coordinator of the group Lady Imabong Akpan while speaking at the well attended event tagged YOWTAS are Ready, highlighted the relevance of young women participation in the emergence of Tinubu as the president of Nigeria came 2023. she further urged members of the group to mobilize for Tinubu and Shetttima at the grassroot.

A national executive member of the group, Barr Joyce Alobo, who accompanied Akpan to the event, expressed delight with the huge number of Niger State women who attended the event.
She urged them to stand by their convictions and give their unalloyed support to the party and the candidates.
Some of the dignitaries that attended the event were the Special Adviser to the Niger State Government on Green House Project, Hajiya Ladidi Idris Kuta; she is the grand matron of the group;Special Adviser on Women Mobilization, Niger State, Hajiya Amina Waziri; Special Adviser on Humanitarian Matters, Hajiya Sa’adatu Bokani; SSA to the Governor on Student Affairs, Hon. Faruk Musa.

Others were Special Adviser on Special Duties, Hajiya Karima Naatsu; former State Women Leader, Hajiya Fatima Mustapha; Coordinator, Government House Projects, Hajiya Hafsat Kure; Asst. Youth Leader Niger State, Hon Suleiman Kofkogo; Zonal Women Leader (APC zone C), Hajiya Saratu Goni and Oath Administrator, Barr Usman Wachiko.
