The story making the rounds that Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, was almost kidnapped in a Kaduna-Abujabound train could be true as a virulent critic of the Muhammadu Buhari administration, Aisha Yesufu, gave irrefutable proof that the minister was aboard the train.
The minister had denied a newspaper report that he was in a near kidnap situation.
Reacting to the denial, Yesufu said Amaechi should be ashamed of himself as she knows people who were in that train.
According to her, the minister and his convoy fled like a newborn mouse.

She said in a Twitter Live broadcast that instead of preparing notes to President Buhari that insecurity is real, he was busy issuing details.
“Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi youshould be ashamed of yourself. My sister, my brother and my sister-in-law wereon that train. When your convoy scattered and you fled like a newborn mouse whom water has been poured on, it was witnessed!. GOVERNANCE IS NOT BY LIES& PROPAGANDA!, ” she tweeted.
“Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi @ChibuikeAmaechi instead ofpreparing notes to tell the President that the insecurity is real, you calledit fake news.When they are done with usand our children, they will come after you and your children!”
Social media had been abuzz when the news filtered that the minister ran for dear life when the kidnappers attacked the train.
