Fiery rights crusader, Yesufu Aisha, has called for the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking in an online video, Yesufu criticized the National Assembly for not living up to responsibilities by impeaching the president, considering his failure to arrest the killings going on in the country.
Yesufu said: “Fellow Nigerians, what is wrong with us; what is wrong with us? Why is Muhammadu Buhari still the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?
“Are we going to wait till we are all dead before we do something? Dead people cannot talk; dead people cannot do anything. This is the time to do something. You’re sitting down and saying you are afraid while they are killing you every day. He’s destroying the country for us. He’s destroying the country for our children. He’s destroying the country for our grandchildren. He’s destroying the country for our descendants and we’re sitting down at home doing nothing. You are a man, you are a woman but you can only sit in your room and be talking. You don’t want to die. Guess what? They are killing you, they are killing you. See another attack on the Kaduna Abuja expressway. Another attack! People have been killed; people have been carried away. Silence everywhere.”
Yesufu blasted the northern leaders for their ‘hypocrisy’.
“Northern people where are you; where are you? Life does no longer matters, right? When they destroy the north; when it is time to do hashtags like #endasars or any other person’s project, you will come out to say the North is not secure but when people are being killed, you will not know that the North is not secure. All of a sudden northern lives no longer matter; it is no longer the president’s life that people are seeing because a northern person is in office. Aso rock is occupied by a northerner, everything is ok. This is your hypocrisy… you’re sitting down doing nothing.
She wondered why the National Assembly is yet to impeach Mr. President.
“What is Buhari still doing in office?” she asked. “Buhari should be chased out of the villa, chased out of the villa, chased out of the villa. They should use that broom wey e take to enter, sweep his feet out. National assembly, what are you doing? What part of the constitution have you not read that you can impeach the president? Impeach Buhari and nothing will happen.”
Yesufu added that everybody was disillusioned by the president and wanted him removed from office.

According to her: “Even the people in the North are sick and tired of him. They want him impeached. Go out on the streets and get the pulse of the people about that person who is the president. Buhari is there watching while people are being killed. All he does is to travel. He just finished travelling, came back and they did a ceremony for him…
“Nigerians are being killed every day but all he cares about is to carry soldiers to the South-east. Nnamdi Kanu is his problem, Nnamdi Kanu is his problem; his people are being killed every day, his people are being killed everywhere but that is none of his problems.
“What are you doing? You are sitting down there doing nothing. You think it is none of your business, right? Those people killed along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway also thought it was none of their business but guess what, yesterday’s victims o, they were once survivors. Today’s victims were yesterday’s survivors. Tomorrow’s victims will be today’s survivors. You and I are today’s survivors.
“Me, I’ll sit well well, since 2014. I don’t have an attachment to life. Anything that wants to happen, let it happen. Na my mouth I go take talk am; I go talk my own and will chew my own. Even if I die today, they will know that Aisha talks her own. Make una Siddon, make una no come out mek we drive that man comot for villa. Una no wan die but the death go come meet you where una dey…M.U.M.U. is occupying our National Assembly. The president dey do anyhow because he feels nobody can impeach him., that nonsense got to stop,” she declared.
