Air Peace lifts Pharaohs of Egypt to Asaba for Super Eagles friendly match

Nigerian carrier, Air Peace, has airlifted the Egyptian national team, the Pharaohs of Egypt from Niamey, Niger Republic to Asaba in Delta for a friendly match with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Air Peace Corporate Communications Manager, Mr Chris Iwarah, confirmed the development on Tuesday in Lagos.

Iwarah said the Boeing 737-500 aircraft operated by Capt. Remilekun Etta, First Officer, Callistus Ifeanyi and their crew lifted a total of 114 passengers on the entourage of the Egyptian team on Sunday.

He said the move was a vote of confidence in the quality of the carrier’s flight operations, adding that it would continue to make Nigeria proud in Africa with its regional flights.

According to him, Air Peace will soon prove to the world that Nigeria has something valuable to offer in aviation with its long-haul flights to Sharjah, Dubai, London, Guangzhou, Houston, Mumbai and Johannesburg launching soon.

“We are quite pleased with the acceptance of Air Peace at all destinations we currently operate to. Air Peace is now the airline of choice in Nigeria and on the West Coast of Africa.

“This boldly speaks to the quality of our flight operations. We are on a mission to bring Nigeria and Africa honour. Soon, we will be on a number of international routes to offer quality alternative.
