The spate of killings continued in Southern Kaduna, on Monday, as gunmen again raided the area, killing three persons and abducting seven others.
According to the National President of Adara Development Association, Awemi Dio Maisamari, Southern Kaduna, two communities in Kajuru council area were affected in the attack.
The duo Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the attack, adding that Governor Nasir el-Rufai had been briefed.
He said while the governor tasked the security agents to crush the bandits, he also condemned the attacks and condoled with affected families.

Aruwan said in a statement: “Government condoles with the families that lost their loved ones to the sheer criminality of the bandits. Security agencies have been directed to double up and intensify operations against bandits…This criminality is an attack on our unity and collective well-being.”
Maisamari announced: “Today, Sunday, 6th September, 2020 at 2.00am, the Adara community of Buda, in Buda Ward of Kajuru LGA came under another deadly attack from suspected Fulani militia.”
The community leader described the attacks as “premeditated and unprovoked,” regretting that the killings remained unabated regardless of a peace accord with the Fulani community.
