The immediate past Vice Chancellor of Alex Ekwueme Federal university of Ndufu Ikwo, AE-FUNAU, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba, has congratulated the newly installed Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
In a message to Soludo, Nwajiuba wrote: “Mr. Governor, we join in prayers that God almighty will grant you His grace of a successful tenure, in Jesus name. Amen.”
He further saluted the governor for his planned support to development of local industries through patronage.
“Your speech is as expected. Excellent. The philosophy is clear. As Vice-Chancellor of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, we patronized Innoson, promoted Akwaete clothing with a Centre for indigenous clothing, allowed only our local food in the campus, set up the Iruka Centre for the study of the future of the Igbo.

“We can use our consumption choices to drive our development,” he added offering him ideas on how to impact positively on the people and succeed in office.
“Please consider this: Light Rail Network in Anambra state. Awka-Onitsha-Nnewi.
“This is achievable with a bottom-up mobilised Anambra. You could simply align this with the double carriage expressway from Awka to Onitsha and then to even Uli, then T-off to Nnewi, and to Ekwulobia.”
