Sen. Athan Nneji Achonu, the Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in the November 11 governorship election has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
He urged the people to trust and believe in God and be hopeful for a better future irrespective of the current economic situation.
In a statement, the Achonu said: “As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, may this season of Christmas bring to you and your loved ones incredible acts of love, kindness, and amazing blessings.

“The birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was for the reformation, restoration, and salvation of mankind. It reminds us of the need to love, be loved, and lead with peace at all times. His love is boundless and eternal, and his life reflects extraordinary leadership principles worth emulating, hence this Christmas is an opportunity to do all that is possible to keep our families united in love; reform society, and salvage humanity for the greater good of our dear nation.
