A 35-year old man, Muritala Ibrahim, has been arrested by the Osun State Amotekun Corps for allegedly defilng a 10-year-old girl in Agba, Boripe Local Government Area of the state.
According to the Corps Commander, CSP Isaac Omoyele (rtd), Ibrahim lured the girl into his residence, where he allegedly had defiled her.
He also allegedly shaved part of the girl’s hair and gave her a new dress.
Ibrahim was later arrested after the girl’s mother lodged a complaint at the Amotekun Boripe Command
“Upon preliminary investigation, the suspect confessed to perpetrating the act by def!ling the young girl. He has been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution,” Omiyele said
He added: “The Osun Amotekun Corps has reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens, especially vulnerable groups like children and women.”
