No fewer than 35 people have been feared dead with 28 others terribly injured in a multiple accident involving a trailer, a bus and a canter truck along Potiskum-Nangere road in Yobe State.
The people were said to be on their way to popular Potiskum cattle market when one of the trucks lost control.

Eyewitnesses said the bodies wewre immediately evacuated to the Potiskum Specialist Hospital, while the injured were receiving treatment at the General Hospital, Sabon Garin, Nangere, currently.
However, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the state, was yet to confirm the incident as at time of filing this report, but its personnel and that of State Emergency Management Agency were sighted during the evacuation exercise at the hospital.
