No less than 25 federal lawmakers are believed have tested positive for Coronavirus, it has been reliably gathered.
Our source disclosed that 10 senators and 15 members of the House of Representatives are reportedly hospitalised in private hospitals having tested positive for coronavirus.
It was gathered that some of the lawmakers had arrived from London over the past week.
Earlier, a memo written by the Minister of Health and signed by Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Abba Kyari had leaked to the public.
The memo indicated that the lawmakers had refused to be tested for the virus, causing the Presidency to write the leadership of the National Assembly.
Nigeria had announced it has 36 cases of the global pandemic with two of the cases inactive after they tested negative. The latest update will cause a surge in the number of total cases.
