People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representative candidate for Epe Federal constituency, Hon. Noheem Balogun, has said he was prepared to win in the February, 25, 2023, general elections.
Balogun said this while members of the party showed him enthusiastic support at a campaign rally in Epe Local government area of Lagos State, assuring people of his constituency of good leadership and not to jeopardise the confidence reposed on him.
He also assured the state and national leadership of the party that with his nomination as candidate, the party is poised to win the poll without any rancour, noting that none of the other political parties in the state stands a chance in the contest.

Balogun expressed appreciation to the leaders and members of the party for standing firmly by him during the process leading to his candidature, saying that some unscrupulous elements nearly truncated the dream of getting the nomination.
“I count myself privileged as the House of Representative Candidate of the great party, some people have moved to shatter that dream but God willing, it’s failed, with this, it means that we have won the election on a landslide, because God is on our side.
“Heaven has sanctioned it that PDP will win at the national and State levels. I want to assure our leaders that Lagos State is for PDP, all the other parties are just shouting. Let them bring money, let them bring violence, Epe people will resist them.
“We are no more interested in accommodating unnecessary interlopers. People want to take us through another round of economic slavery. We are no more ready for that. We are ready (PDP) and prepared to take up this challenge as the incoming administration in Lagos state on the platform of the PDP not APC or other political parties,” he said.

He urged the people of the state and Epe constituency to come out en masse to vote for the candidates of PDP for the pragmatic change and general overhauling of the state, noting that incoming administration would address the issues of marginalisation, and being cut off from federal presence-led by Hon. Wale Raji.
The House of Representative candidate who was optimistic that PDP will win 100 percentage in Lagos State, maintained that people should faith with the party as be is poised to bring developmental project that will make everybody comfortable in the State.
He pledged his unwavering loyalty to the çurrent PDP leadership in the State, adding that all his supporters will be law-abiding party members before, during and after the elections.
