Forward with Buhari (FWB), an independent campaign organisation for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid, has said that there was no alternative to President Buhari in the coming election.
Sen. Lawali Shuaibu, National Coordinator of the organisation, who is also the Deputy National Chairman (North), the All Progressives Congress (APC) said this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
He said the organisation had however, embarked on an intensive grassroots campaign, across the six geopolitical zones of the country to convince Nigerians on why they should re-elect President Buhari.

“There is no alternative to President Buhari in the coming election. Therefore, in order to consolidate on the gains made so far, Nigerians should massively vote President Buhari,” he said.
Shuaibu said the organisation, which kick-started its road show from Lagos State, had been to Edo and Zamfara, adding that its next road show would be Kano State.
“Everywhere we went, we enlightened those at the grassroots and the general public on the need to re-elect President Buhari for a second term based on his good works and resounding achievements.
“While in Lagos, Edo and Zamfara States, the Forward with Buhari campaign organisation embarked on intense road shows, stopping at various strategic points, including markets.
“We also stopped at event centres to interact with the people and distribute campaign items.
” We also showcased verifiable achievements of the current administration and President Buhari as the most viable option among the presidential candidates,” he said.
According to Shuaibu, the organisation intends to tour the entire six geopolitical zones before the presidential election slated for February 16.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the organisation was initiated by the Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari, and the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF).
The organisation comprises mostly of youths, mobilisers, sensitisers and grassroots canvassers. (NAN)
